TSB economic results 2018

In the year 2018 TSB experienced an increase of close to 7% with respect to 2017. Reaching a turnover of 160 million euros.

The results obtained in 2018 do nothing other than further consolidate the sustained growth that TSB has experienced in recent years.

The company, which has spent 52 years in the sector, focuses 85% of its activity on Iberian transport (Spain and Portugal), 12% of the activity is international and the remaining 3% of the business is developed within the logistics area.

For this year 2019 the forecasts are to grow by 8%.

Within the strategic plan 2018-2021, one of the main points is to optimize the resources available to generate greater synergies in the processes with the intention of optimizing them and continuing to grow. Although «growing is not our main objective, nor is it an obsession, but a consequence of doing things well,» says Pere Cristóbal, CEO of the company.

In addition, TSB will soon open a new cross-dock platform in San Fernando de Henares (Madrid) with a land area of ​​more than 50,000 m2, which is added to the existing one in Camarma de Esteruelas, with a close investment to 16 million euros.

With this new «cross-dock» TSB will have in Madrid of 75,000 m2 of surface, 26,000 m2 built and 130 loading and unloading docks. TSB is also studying expanding surface in Valencia, but there is still no concrete date.

Already in 2016, the company took the first step of this business expansion by adding a new cross-dock platform in Castellbisbal (Barcelona), on an area of ​​40,000 m2 of land and 20,000 m2 of warehouse, with 93 loading docks.

At present, TSB has a fleet of 950 vehicles. Of which, 220 are of large tonnage. Facilities of 150,000 m2 and generates more than 1,000 direct jobs throughout the peninsula.

From the headquarters, in Barberà del Vallés (Barcelona) the commercial and administrative activity is developed. In addition, we have 52 delegations spread between Spain and Portugal. And 18 logistic centers connected permanently through technological platforms.

Our extensive network of correspondents and specialists in freight transport and logistics, are experts in the transport of international cargo by air, land, and sea.

In addition, we are strongly committed to the environment, proof of which is that in the last year 2,165,654 Kg less CO2 were emitted compared to the previous year, through the intermodal transport service.
