
13 Nov TSB Zaragoza obtains the Aragon business excellence award

The Forum of Business Excellence of the Government of Aragon and Instituto Aragonés de Fomento has awarded the award for Business Excellence 2019 to TSB Zaragoza in the SME category.
Yesterday, at the Zaragoza Congress Center (Expo site), with the attendance of more than 1,000 people, the awards for business excellence in Aragon took place, which is already in its XXIII edition.
In the Large Companies category, Master.D won the award “for his score on the leadership EFQM model in the sector and the use of excellence as an element of reorientation”.
The finalists in this category were Atlas Copco and Alliance Healthcare España.
In the SME category in addition to TSB Zaragoza as the winner, the finalists who opted for such a precious award were Bestmedic and Océano Atlántico.
TSB Zaragoza was the winner for having obtained “the highest technical score based on the EFQM model, innovation and track record in the logistics sector”.
And in the last category, that of “Non-profit entities”, the award was won by the British College of Aragon for “the highest technical score based on the EFQM model and greater implementation of said model for the years of application”.
The finalists of this last category were the integrated public vocational training schools CPIFP Bajo Aragón and CPIFP Los Enlace.
The honor conference was made by Antonio Garrigues Walker with the motto «Women, talent and Leadership». The presentation was given by Pilar Torreblanca, director of the Ceste Foundation.
The event was attended by the Vice President and Minister of Industry of the Government of Aragon, Arturo Aliaga López, who recalled that there are already more than 1,000 companies recognized for their excellence in Aragon.
Also present was the Minister of Economy, Marta Gastón, who has collected the Seal of Excellence in the Gold category as president of the Unemployment. Gastón highlighted the role of the 490 people who develop their work in the employment offices of the Community of Aragon, highlighting that this award was a recognition of their work.
Other speakers have also been present, such as Susana Fábregas, Director of Development of Services for Club Excellence in Management, Mª Jesús Lorente, CEO of Bioknostic and president of the Aragonese Association of Business and Professional Women (ARAME), Ana Solana, Senior Director of Human Resources , talent and Compensation for Europe and Asia Pacific at Exide Technologies and president of the Board of Directors of Aragón and Rosa Menéndez, president of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC)
